I HAVE GOOSE-BUMPS

Our departure went very well, initially we were informed by the Cathay Pacific Manager on duty  there no longer is any group check ins.  Once he saw the boxes and realized what we were doing he went out of his way to attend to us personally and checked us in as a group.  Before we headed to our gate we thanked him for his kindness and he wished us good luck on our project and said "I have goose bumps".  As well two Nepalese men and a woman were reading the Nepalese script on our boxes which states "Glasses for the blind affected by the earthquake".  They thanked us for our intentions and our efforts  and offered their help to us when we arrive in Kathmandu in case we run into any problems. The flight was uneventful except for 45 minutes of rough turbulence, so much so that even the  flight attendants had to stay in their seats.

When we arrived in Hong Kong we received an email from David Sakaki that the country is under a fuel lock down and the power will be out for the next 4 days.
